We are down to less than 15 tickets, and you will not be able to purchase tickets after December 2nd, so hurry up!
*2014 Board Elections: We heard from our 2014 Board candidates on Saturday during the special Bagel Brunch, and also posted messages from each of them on our site this week (link). Our first Pride Run meeting is on December 9th at 415 Hill Street at 6:30PM!

*Christmas Relays: Brian Hill is helping organize teams for the Christmas Relays on December 15th. Head here for details on how to find a team (link).
*Exciting News!: You can now check-in to our Saturday Walks/Runs using your smart phones! Thanks to some help from Michael Long, you can new use Facebook to check-in when you are at the Saturday Walks/Runs. It’s a great way to help promote the club and also brag to your friends who are too lazy to get up! Thanks to Michael for setting this up, and stay tuned for check-in options for the Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday walks/runs!
ips Snacks at Saturday Walks/Runs: Last Saturday, we received some delicious snack samples from ips (link). The snacks were quickly devoured by everyone. A big thanks to ips for thinking of us and sending them our way!
Training continues with SF Track & Field Club: Last Sunday was another warm, sunny day at the track encouraging the team to do lots of stretching exercises followed by some very slow 600-500-400-300 sprints. Since it is early in the season, concentration is on endurance and not speed. Great time to build a good base for any upcoming full or half marathons.
If you plan to attend the Gay Games in Clevelend/Akron and are interested in hotel accommodations, contact Bob at email@example.com or show up at interval training at 10am at SFSU Cox Stadium on Sunday.
SFFR November Movie Matinee: Last Sunday, we bucked the trend of our usual movie nights, and went out to a matinee of Hunger Games: Catching Fire. We got there early to save seats for friends, and then enjoyed snacks while we watched the film. A big thanks to everyone who made it, and to Jason and Rob for helping out!
Annual SFFR Thanksgiving Day Run: On Thanksgiving Morning, we met in front of McLaren Lodge for a 3-5 mile run. There was a great turnout!
A big thanks to everyone who made it out and to Rick for taking the lead on the event!
