Who Will Be FrontRunner of the Year?
Greetings, SF FrontRunners!
Exciting news! We’ve sold roughly 100 tickets to the End-of-the-Year Banquet on December 7. The event has a cap of 140 and will sell out. Buy your tickets today at www.sffr.org.
This will be more than an evening of wine, (wo)men, and song. We will also be giving out awards to celebrate achievement and need your input. Please look at the four categories below. Think about what members deserve recognition and email their names to board@sffr.org by Thursday, November 29. Board officers are excluded from consideration.
Feel free to include a statement of 25 words or fewer in support of each nominee. The board will review all submissions.
FrontRunner of the Year
The individual who has best exemplified the values of the club through volunteer service, active participation, generosity, or other actions.
Runner of the Year
The individual who has made the most progress in running—increasing the distance, frequency, or performance on the road.
Newcomer of the Year (female)
A woman who joined the club in 2012 and hit the ground running. Similar to FrontRunner of the Year but all the more exceptional given this person’s newcomer status.
Newcomer of the Year (male)
A man who joined the club in 2012 and hit the ground running. Similar to FrontRunner of the Year but all the more exceptional given this person’s newcomer status.
Thank you! Please send your nominations to board@sffr.org by November 29. Sooner is better!
